Jesy Nelson, the British pop star from the all female pop group “Little Mix” is back in the lime light to debut her very first single as a individual artist.
Nelson decided to team back up with the Nicki Minaj, a rap icon, for her debut.
The pair isn’t new to collaborating, they teamed up back in 2018 on “Little Mix’s” hit single “Woman Like Me”. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the Queen would hop back on Nelson’s newest single.
The track samples Diddy’s 2001 smash “Bad Boy For Life” and features a cameo from the man himself. Diddy appears as the man next door who welcomes Jesy to the neighborhood after she accidentally smashes his window with the golf ball.
The pop singer, Jesy Nelson, first revealed the news to her fans when posting behind the scene footage of the “Boyz” music video.
The caption read: “Do you think they’re ready for this? @nickiminaj #Boyz.” A voiceover from the “Roman’s Revenge” rapper in her “Martha Zolanski” English accent declared “A Yo! It’s the U.K baddie and the Barbie”
