Nicki Minaj had a few words to share about her song “Seeing Green” not being nominated at the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards.
BET released the nominees for their annual awards show on Thursday (September 9), and while some artist such as Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B and Lil Durk are excited about the show, others are not.
On Thursday, Nicki Minaj ran to Twitter to express her anger towards BET for not acknowledging her “Seeing Green” single featuring Drake and Lil Wayne. According to Minaj, how dare we speak on Hip Hop in 2021 without mentioning “Seeing Green”.
Although Nicki didn’t mention BET in her tweet, The Barbz quickly pointed the finger at the Black Entertainment Program for leaving “Seeing Green” out of the category.
However, Nicki Minaj still shared a nomination for her hit collaboration with BIA for the song “Whole Lotta Money (Remix).
BIA’s “Whole Lotta Money (Remix)” featuring Nicki Minaj is nominated for Best Collaboration and Song of the Year at the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards. The song recently gave the formidable pair a platinum plaque, and BIA announced the news on Instagram by gifting Nicki a custom made “BARBIA” iced-out necklace.
“PLATINUM PU$$Y,” BIA wrote in the caption. “@nickiminaj THANK YOUUUU!!! I’ll forever appreciate this moment with you and all we managed to accomplish! #BarBIA WE in ! Love youuuu so much & BIG Thank you to the BARBs!!!”
