Kanye West might be pulling a publicity stunt by removing JAY-Z’s verse off of his song “Jail” and replacing it with DaBaby’s vocals.
Mmm, Talk about doing something for clout? We’ll at least that’s the conclusion the fans are drawing. According to black Twitter, Kanye is simply clout chasing and doing anything possible to sell his newest album, “Donda”.
Apparently, Kanye is aiming for shock value when he brought out DaBaby, who has been under fire for his ignorant homophobic commentary during his live performance at Rolling Loud Miami last month.
Some Fans are confused on social media, while others have a pretty good clue what strategy Kanye is attempting to use to promote his album.
As one fan tweeted, “Kanye bringing out Marilyn Manson in the middle of his rape accusations is (more) proof Kanye will do anything for attention.”
Another added, “Kanye about to assemble the cancelled avengers with DaBaby and Marilyn Manson #DONDA,” while someone else noted, “Putting DaBaby and Marilyn Manson last minute is just blatant antagonizing, like you can’t even pretend it’s anything else. That’s very corny.”
The album, “Donda” continues to be pushed back further into the year as the project failed to release on it’s primary release date.
According to Hip Hop DX, the new release date will be September 3, the same day Drake could potentially drop Certified Lover Boy.
